Llandrindod Wells

Llandrindod Wells is the largest and the most popular of the four spa towns in central Wales that flourished during the late Victorian and Edwardian times.

These towns grew from the popularity of their mineral springs, which drew in the health seeking Victorians in their thousands. Taking the waters to cure gout and rheumatism has now been replaced by modern medicine but this spacious and fashionable town still draws in the tourists.
