How To buy a Home With KOG

Step - By - Step

Step 1

Contact us for a no obligation viewing

You’ve seen a home you like, you’ve had a tour of the property online with our 360 walkthrough and would like to see it in person.

Give us a call!

We’ll arrange a viewing at a time convenient for you. We work weekends and evenings, so you won’t have to duck out of work to make the viewing.

We know how much buying a property means to you. Whether it’s your first home or 10th, you’re making a huge investment and we want to make sure you’re comfortable and informed the entire way through.

Step 2

the viewing

We’ll meet you at the property at the agreed time.

Once inside the house, we’ll show you around from top to bottom. We ask our property owners to leave the house whilst the viewing is taking place wherever possible, so you can speak freely and ask any questions that pop into your head.

We come prepared with all the answers about the house and area as we possibly can. From plumbing to EPC’s, we’re here to help. We’ll even let you know any other fees to expect like the land transaction/stamp duty taxes and council tax.

We are totally transparent in every area, if the home has had any issues that we are aware of, we will let you know from the get go.

Ask us about the neighbours, we’ve likely had a chat to them!

Step 3

putting in an offer

You love the property and you’re all set to go! We will deliver your offer to the homeowner.

Putting in an offer can be nerve wracking, we’ll keep you informed at every step. As soon as we have an answer, we’ll call you. No waiting for days or chasing agents, we’re on the ball and will let you know if the offer has been accepted, rejected, or if there is a counter offer on the table.

If you do get a counter, we will give you time to think about it with no pressure.

If you decide the home isn’t right for you, that’s fine too. We may have other properties to suit you better and can show you around those!

When both parties have agreed on a price, we all do a happy dance, and start the process to get you in your new home!

Step 4

the purchase

Congratulations! You’ve had your offer accepted, the house is yours.

Now we get the solicitors involved, and you’ll start the journey of making it official.

At this point, we step back and let the legal guys do their job, but we’re here for you if you need any advice.

The process can take a while depending on everyone’s circumstances which gives you plenty of time to prepare for the move.
